This week we visit: Denmark
Copenhagen is a cool city in itself. It is one of the most underrated destinations in all of Europe and it wows everyone who decides to pay it a visit. And in such a cool city, you need cool places to unwind and have a drink or two. So, without further ado, let us tell you about a few really swanky watering holes in Copenhagen.
If you are looking for a laid-back, old-school kind of a bar where adults go, there are two main choices. The first of these is 1656, one of the best cocktail bars in the city, constantly surprising its patrons with new concoctions. The other one is Holmens Canal, another luxury, grown-up spot with amazing waiters and superb cocktails.
Fans of jazz should head out straight to Jazzhouse, the premiere spot in town for this kind of music. More often than not, you will come across gigs there, with some of the most popular jazz musicians in the world doing their thing.
Mikkeller & Friends is one of Copenhagen’s best pubs, famous for its sleek Scandinavian-style design and some of the best microbrews you will try in this part of the world. Ruby is a 1920s-style bar which boasts some of the steepest prices in Copenhagen. However, you do get what you paid for and you can rest assured that the cocktails at Ruby will be among the best you ever tasted.
