Romania’s nightlife is quite similar to the one that you can encounter in other European countries. There is literary something for everyone, and the people are friendly and welcoming. Whether you opt for a dinner in a traditional restaurant, drinks in trendy bars, or just dancing all night long, you will experience the true spirit of the country.
The nightclubs are very popular among young people, and the good news is that the entrance fees are much cheaper than in other parts of Europe. While safety is not a concern, you should watch your pockets and avoid leaving valuables unattended. Some of the best clubs are, of course, located in or near the center of the towns, making partying a great option for tourists.
Jazz and Latino clubs are extremely popular in Romania, and you can find amazing clubs mainly in the big cities. Romanians also like to spend time in bars, where you can enjoy the great atmosphere and meet lively people. Moreover, locals often go to underground pubs that boast great live music and medieval atmosphere. You should be aware that bars fill up pretty quickly in the evening, so if you want to find a free table, be there early.
