5 Most Beautiful Tourist Attractions in Indonesia

In our new Globe Trotter series, Viral Travel reviews all the best places to see, eat and stay at in every country of the world!

This week we visit: Indonesia

Indonesia is certainly an amazing spot to vacation with a lot of things to see. But if you are a bit short on time and you want to see them absolute essentials, then we would recommend the following five destinations. Just a reminder, all of the islands are beautiful and have their own special atmosphere, but these five really stand out as places that you really can afford to miss out on.

First there is Raja Ampat. If you are in love with coral reefs and love exotic wildlife and nature, this is the place to be. The volcanic rock clusters that are protruding out of the ocean are simply stunning to look at.

Then there is the Komodo National Park. Of course, this is the only place in the world where you can still see a Komodo Dragon, and you definitely should not miss out.

Bali is, of course, the most famous and well-known island of the country. Known for its pristine beaches, white sand and crystal clear water, this is one of the best places in the world to dive. Also, trips through the jungle can be just as exciting, and you might even see a monkey!

Then you have another national park, Karimunjawa, which is a marine park. It’s actually a combination of five different ecosystems, which is amazing in and of itself.

You should also check out Lake Toba. This is the perfect place to go last so that you can unwind, chill out, and take in all of the experiences you have had in Indonesia before you head home.
